KHS Band 100th Anniversary

Kewanee Schools Foundation is having a special concert on Saturday, May 11, 2024 to benefit the Kewanee High School Music Department.  The goal of the event is to raise $7,000 for a PA system for the KHS Music Department which will enhance the performances of the marching band and concert band at events and competitions.  The concert will be held at 7:00 pm in the Petersen Auditorium at Kewanee High School.  The concert will feature the 100th Anniversary Wind Ensemble.

The general public is invited and encouraged to attend.  Tickets are $5 each.  There will be a silent auction in the Petersen Auditorium Lobby before the concert and at intermission, as well as a 50/50 drawing.  Refreshments will be provided after the concert in the Golby Student Center.  Doors open at 6:15 pm.

The Foundation would like to thank the individuals and businesses sponsoring 100 Years of the Kewanee High School Band Concert.  The event would not be possible without their kind and generous support.
