Endowment Fund
"Sustaining the
Life of the Foundation and its Activities"
The Endowment Fund is the heart of the
Kewanee Schools Foundation. Just as the heart in a human is necessary to
sustain life, so is the endowment fund of a Foundation. The Endowment Fund
of the Kewanee Schools Foundation provides the following essential services:
- Supports the fund-raising activities of
the foundation to help improve our schools.
- Provides for the writing, printing and
mailing of the "Alumni Update", our quarterly newsletter.
- Supports alumni activities such as class
reunions, class meetings and homecoming events.
- Supports maintaining this website so you
may gain access to friends and learn of coming events.
- Supports the cost of communicating with
alumni and friends.
Benefits of Providing a Gift to the
Endowment Fund:
- Donors are the lifeblood of the
Foundation. As a donor, you become a member of a successful team that
helps to support the needs of the schools of our community.
- Gifts to the Endowment Fund in excess of
$200 are recognized on the
Wall of Honor.
This is a wonderful way of memorializing a love one or letting others know
you care.
- For large gifts, naming opportunities
exist. You may be able to name a classroom or other part of the school
in your name, your company's name, or memorialize a loved one.
- By providing a gift, you will gain the
satisfaction of knowing your gift helped sustain an organization dedicated
to improving our schools.
- All gifts to the Kewanee Schools
Foundation-Endowment Fund are tax deductible when you itemize. The
Kewanee Schools foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization.
